Why does the public misunderstand Nickelback

I've had many friends and music teachers and I hear that others just don't like Nickelback, I'm just like, SHUT UP!!! YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW THEM FOR WHAT THEY ARE! I mean seriously, people, get your facts straight. Gosh dang it! i mean its soooo pathetic that such an awesome band like Nickelback is so misunderstood for what they sing and present in lyric topics
